Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all bid for Cardiff sensation Empty Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all bid for Cardiff sensation

Cardiff City have confirmed that Manchester United have made an official bid for teenage star Aaron Ramsey, with BBC Sport understanding that Liverpool and Arsenal are the two other clubs that have made an official approach.
All three clubs are said to have made bids around the £5 million mark for the Wales under-21 star.
However, The Daily Telegraph claims that Arsenal’s and Liverpool’s bids for the 17-year-old midfielder have both been turned down.
Again, the Daily Telegraph believes the bids to be around £5 million, however City turned down the bid as most of the money was dependant on the star’s development at the club and Cardiff are looking for a large up-front cash offer before they sell up.
Cardiff seem resigned to the fact that they are unlikely to now keep the teenage sensation and the turned down bids are sure to alert a number of other clubs such as Everton and Tottenham. Liverpool and Arsenal are sure to improve their orginal offers after hearing they were rejcted as well.
Ramsey, 17, has played just 22 games for Championship side Cardiff, and now faces the difficult decision on which club he should choose. After playing first-team football at Cardiff it could be beneficial to look for a Premier League club that will provide him with first-team football, or he could choose to go to one of the top 4 and hope to progress through the ranks.
Another option that Cardiff remain hopeful of is a year-long loan spell back at Cardiff after the sale, which would see Ramsey continue playing first-team football.
Ramsey’s potential is in no doubt and Ramsey featured as a substitute at Wembley, but it was his semi-final performance against Barnsley that won him wide recognition
